YU Yunique Review: Pros and Cons

Review of YU Yunique at a Glance:-

YU the company partly owned by Micromax launches spec brimming entry level Smartphone YU Yunique that has specs like Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz processor, 4.7 inches display, 8 & 2 MP camera, 4G support, 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM, Dual SIM support and 2000 mAh battery.
The Smartphone partially looks like Sony’s Omni-Balance design while the rear camera is fixed on a raised disk, 128 gram of weight and 8.3mm thickness makes it light and slim. Plastic built is nicely used to make its look premium; back is non slippery with scratchproof mate finish. The 3.5mm jack is located on the top, Micro-USB port is on the bottom, power button has been placed in between the volume buttons on right side.

4.7 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions and 312 ppi of display density is pretty decent quality. The sunlight visibility is not so sharp as the colour seems slight dull. If we consider its price the display is OK for entry level Smartphone which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
8 MP camera is pretty decent as its colour production for photography looks like washed out. Camera takes time to focus and capturing outdoor photography is average. 2 MP front camera is better as compare to rear camera for the selfies.
Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor with 1.2 Ghz of clock speed is quite sufficient for day to day use for average Smartphone user. This is budget phone and expecting higher performance will be greed. You can easily play medium graphical games like Subway Surfer, Candy crush and Temple run and don’t expect heavy games in this phone.
2000 mAh battery runs mostly for one full day, this battery has 2 types of problem first, sometimes it heats up and sometime it drains faster. Both of the issues can be resolved to great extent by some way described below.
