Motorola Moto X Play Review: Pros and Cons

Review of Motorola Moto X Play at a Glance:-

Most of the brands now providing good specs in mid range segment after facing competitions from newly arise brands such as OnePlus, Xiaomi etc. Moto X Play is  Launched with specs like Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, 5.5 inches display, 21 MP/ 5 MP camera, 4G, Dual SIM support, 32 GB ROM with 2 GB RAM and 3630 mAh battery. 
The basic frame of Moto X Play is copied from Moto X (2nd Gen) and build quality is solid designed to make it water repellent. As it has curved design and rubberised back make it comfortable in palm. Thickness in top and bottom edge starts from 8.9mm and in centre it is 10.9 mm. Moto X (2nd Gen) was aluminium built while Moto X Play is made of plastic. It’s water repellent not Water resistant like Moto G3. The top edge has SIM and micro SD card tray as well as a headphone port and in bottom edge micro USB charging port, power button and volume buttons are located on the right edge.

5.5-inches Capacitive LCD touchscreen with full HD Resolutions (1080p) and 403 ppi display density can be much better if they provide AMOLED screen with this; although it is quite vibrant and vivid. Colours emitted by screen doesn’t seem fade it is quite sharp, with good visibility in sun and good viewing angle. 

21 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture capable of taking wide angle photographs, quality of pictures from primary camera is quite well; the dual LED flashes on the rear camera include Colour Correlated Temperature feature that make colours much accurate when using the flash. 5 MP front camera is also not going to disappoint the selfie lovers. 
Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor with 1.7 GHz clock speed is able to run high end games smoothly the snapdragon 600 series processor are notorious for heating but it’s good news that Moto X Play doesn’t heats up while slight heating is common in case of heavy gaming for long time.
3630 mAh battery is one of best positive feature of this Smartphone; company claims that the Moto X Play will make two days without a charge but in heavy use the battery run for 24-30 hours. With Turbopowercharging, the phone gets up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.
