The Micromax Canvas Silver 5 is first 4G phone with 5.1 mm thickness and 97 gram light weight, it also has features such as 8 MP rear and 5 MP front camera,2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 4.8 inches display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2000 mAh battery.The body is made up of aircraft grade aluminium and quality plastic, 4.8 inches with slim and light weight feels negligible in pocket. it comes with ‘In cell’ touch responsive technology means multi-touch display that employs a single layer sensor that is applied directly to the display results into slimmer design. The display has resolutions of 720p with 320 ppi density that makes its display sharp and vibrant we can’t say that its best in its price range but it’s satisfactory even in sunlight.
8MP rear camera packed with SONY IMX219 sensor, 4P Largan lens and Blue Glass Filter that gives quality photography but still its camera struggles to maintain details of pictures especially in low light photographs, selfie camera is 5 MP gives average photos
The speaker is equipped with NXP Smart Power Amplifier and Dirac HD sound Having Rich sound tonality with 3D bass effect.
Snapdragon 410 having clock speed of 1.2 GHz doesn’t let phone hang as it is capable of running most applications smoothly while it stuck on running heavy games such as Asphalt 8.
The battery is neither amazing nor poor but for an average user it runs for whole day after a single full charging.
