Install cyanogenmod custom rom on samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N900 Ha3g exynos
Update samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N900 Ha3g that is exynos variant to latest version of android lollipop by flashing cyanogenmod custom rom.Since there are lot of variant of samsung galaxy note 3 what we need here is exynos variant which has model number of SM-N900.It comes with a samsung in house chipset exynos 5 octacore and rest of specs being similar to that of other variants.
Since this ROM is specific to note 3 sm-n900(Ha3g) don't flash this on other variant s as it might brick it for sure as they have different processors.SO check your device model number first before proceeding further.Go to settings and then to about device and you will your device model number confirm it as SM-N900.

- Charge your note 3 to at least 70% so that you don't run into any problems.
- Backup all your apps and data on your device to external sdcard or computer as flashing cyanogenmod (cm 12.1 )rom will erase all the app data on your device including contacts.
- Enable usb debugging on your note 3.Of course you don't need to do this for sure but enable it.Download cyanogenmod rom and gapps if you need them.
- Backup Efs and modem partitions of your samsung galaxy note 3.
- You must have a custom recovery like Twrp installed on your samsung galaxy note 3.
Flash Cm 12.1 rom using Twrp recovery:
- Download cyanogenmod cm12.1 rom for ha3g (Cm 12.1 nighltlies )and Gapps transfer it to sdcard or internal storage of device.
- Power of the device completely.
- Press volume up,power button and home key simultaneously and once you see boot loader screen release buttons.
- Using volume down as a navigation button move to recovery and click on power button to confirm action.
- Once you are in twrp backup existing rom first.It might about 5 minutes for backup to complete.
- Wipe data,cache and dalvik cache.You may not need to wipe system.
- Flash ROM and then gapps.
- Reboot to system.Wait at least 15 minutes for initial boot to complete and once done you can explore ROM features.
- If rom fails to boot Remove battery and put it back.Reboot it to recovery and this wipe system too and flash rom again.
