Install android lollipop based liquid smooth rom on Sony xperia L taoshan c2105 c2104
Xperia l is midrange device which was a huge success for sony.It comes with a 4.3inch 480x854 resolution display.It is powered by a dual core snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1gh with 1gb of ram and 8gb internal storage of which only 5.8gb is available to the user.Primary camera is 8mp while the secondary camera is vga.Device has two model numbers C2104 and C2105 and device specific name for this mobile is Taoshan.
Though it was initially launched with 4.1 jellybean later it has been updated to 4.2.2 jellybean and there is no sign of lollipop at all. Xperai L may not receive its official lollipop update but you can still have it running on your smart phone using Liquid smooth custom rom.

Features:
- Interface: This includes animations control.Clock and weather widgets are completely customizable so you dont need to download any separate app for both clock and weather widgets.
- Lockscreen: YOu can customize weather widget on lockscreen and double tapping on lockscreen ring will put the device to sleep.
- Gesture anywhere: this feature is now quite common in most of the roms.Its a great way of navigation through gestures.
- App circle bar: You can access this by swiping from left or right edge of the screen and a tab appears with apps in it.You can launch your favourite apps easily with this feature and of course you can disable it if you don't like.Keep in mind that it wont open apps in floating mode.
- Notification lights: If your device supports notification led light then you can customize it.You can change the color of your led light for different actions.
- Heads up: When ever you receive a notification a rectangular bar with notification info will be displayed on top portion of the screen giving you a glimpse of what notification you have received this is called heads up notification and is common in android lollipop.You can adjust time for heads up to be displayed.
- Traffic indicator is also present in this rom for on ongoing upload and download speeds which is displayed on your status bar.
- Double tapping on status bar will put the device to sleep.
- Brightness control: You can easily adjust screen brightness by just swiping on status bar.
- Status bar: Carrie label can be displayed on status bar and you can customize it too.Battery icon can also be changed if you don't like it.
- Ad blocker is present in this rom by default and it takes care of ads showing up in your browser or apps.
- Layers: This is an alternative to cyanogenmod theme engine and you can customize ui using themes.
- Performance control: This lets you to control your cpu behaviour.You can play with frequencies,schedulers,governors etc.So you don't need to go for any other cpu control apps.

Prerequisites:
- Backup:Backup all your data which includes apps,contacts,photos videos etc everything to computer or any cloud storage as flashing Liquid smooth Rom on Sony xperia L taoshan will erase all your data.
- Battery: Charge your mobile to at least 90% so that you wont encounter any battery related issues while flashing this.
- Backup Efs partitions: Backup all your efs partition of your sony xperia L taoshan on current Rom.If you loose signal you can just restore it back.
- Custom recovery: You need a custom recovery like twrp or cwm installed on it.Without it you can not flash roms at all.
- Downloads: Liquid smooth rom for Taoshan and google apps. Transfer them to internal storage of your device.
Flash Liquid smooth rom on Xperia L taoshan using recovery:
- Download Liquid smooth rom for xperia L taoshan and Gapps transfer it to sdcard or internal storage of device.
- Power of device completely and wait for few seconds to confirm that it is off completely.
- Press power button and when device boots up leave power button.
- While you xperia l is powering up you you will notice led light blinks.When this happens you have to press either volume up or down continuously until it boots into recovery mode.
- Sony xperia l boots into Twrp or cwm recovery.
- Once you are in twrp or cwm click on backup and select all partitions which you want to backup. It might take about 5 minutes for backup to complete. Don't interrupt backup process.
- Once backup of your existing rom is completed click on back button.Wipe data,cache and dalvik cache and wipe system partition too.
- Now select Install and navigate to location where you have placed your Rom and gapps zip files.
- Flashing rom might take about 5 minutes or so.Once flashing is complete do a factory reset again.
- Now reboot to system.Wait at least 15 minutes for initial boot to complete and once done you can explore Rom features.
